Math, One-Digit Simple Multiplication Worksheet

Multiplication is a practical way of adding. We can find the result of the sum of 4 + 4 + 4 + 4 + 4 + 4 by multiplying 6 by 4. The number we multiply is called a multiplier while the number to be multiplied is called a multiplicand. The result that we find as a result of the multiplication is called a product.

A second-grade student,

Understands that multiplication means repeated addition.

Learns that the symbol for multiplication is (x).

Learns the expressions: multiplicand, multiplier, and product.

Multiplies the numbers up to 10 by 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5.

Notices that changing the place of the factors in the multiplication operation will not change the product.

Understands the effect of 1 and 0 in multiplication.

Solves problems that require multiplication with natural numbers.
